Are these symptoms for marijuana withdrawal and how long will they last?
Hello I am a 17 year ancient male, and i recently made the choice to quit smoking marijuana. I smoked about 1 to 3 bowls a day which would be about 2 – 3 grams for the past year .I realized i was abusing the drug to much so I quit cold turkey. I know you are not suppose to but if I get more i might just smoke it all . but anyway the first day wasn't to terrible at all. but the second day i woke up sick to my stomach with a headache and i couldn't get comfortable in my bed at all. the third day was much worst, I was nervous and still had an upset stomach. I cant eat very well yet i eat better(yet less) because i don't have a craving for greasy foods anymore. I had very slight depression and anxiety the 2nd and 3rd day but now I think its gone. I have a slight shortness in breath also when i get the anxiety. my body also feels tired and sore. and lastly the first 2 days I would get urges to smoke yet they are gone and the symptoms are still there. but i guess my question is when can i expect each symptom to stop because I'm not sure how much longer I can handle the withdrawal(If that is what this it). Support would be much appreciated also. Today will be my fourth day Clean.
Marijuana is not physically addicting and people don't get sick from quitting. It is perfectly ok to quit 'cold turkey' no matter how much you were smoking. any symptoms you are experiencing are either in your head or you were doing a much harder drug, like heroin or certain pills.
excellent job man. stopping before it takes a huge effect on you. even though it already has. but would have been worst. anyways it shouldnt last much longer, u can do it.
Just stick it out. I have no experience with that but I hope ya make it.
i would go to the doctor, because that is NOT caused by marijuana
I've gone months without smoking MJ and never had any withdrawals. I didn't know there was such a thing.

i read every single page and since that i have accepted what is happening to me and my body and definetly realized im not the only one
REMEMBER THIS: YOU WILL QUIT EVENTUALLY if not now you will at some point down the road it will be harder then trust me
I wish you the best I hope your tuff enough to get through this
Most of it is in your head. I have done this before. That was after 15 years. It will be hard on you for about 30 days then it goes away. I would suggest a sleeping pill. Not anything with pain reliever with it. Just a sleeping pill. That was my huge thing one hits before bed. I could not sleep for nothing after I quit. It will help. the eating thing is just something you have to deal with. Eat when you are hungry. great weightloss program. Hope this helps. Excellent Luck! YOU CAN DO IT IF YOU TRY!
Congratulations of your choice. you will not regret it. the best way to quit I think is cold turkey. I believe the urges will go away withing a couple of weeks. always make sure to stay away from that stuff because just like with any other disease there is always a chance of a relapse. you can do this. Your body will be better off and you will be healthier!
First of all, thats awesome that you chose to quit and had the will to. I made the same choice a couple years ago. Yea those do sound very much like withdrawal symptoms. It just depends as to how long the symptoms will last, I would say somewhere between 2-3 weeks. Don't give up on it, it will pass, and your already on your way there
