Smoking is a habit that is reinforced by pairing it with many of your day to day activities. every time you do one of these activities, you also smoke and so eventually a simple action leads to a cigarette craving. every person has different triggers, they can be anything from eating a meal to taking a break at work. Another simple thing to do is to keep yourself busy with activities where smoking is not allowed. Feeling embarrassed about leaving to go for a cigarette is a fantastic deterrent to the activity.

Be more stubborn than the cigarettes. This is the best advice to keep in mind. if you get that urge just repeat this phrase over and over to yourself, it will help you stay on track and will empower you to know that you are a strong individual who can do whatever you put your mind to.
