It doesn’t matter how long have you been smoking. if you want to quit, you will be able to do so. no one can force you stop except yourself. Therefore, you need to find some strong reasons why you want to quit smoking.

Most people quit smoking due to health problem. I reckon this is the strongest reason of all because health is the most precious asset in life. to live happily, you need good health. On top of that, smoking has also harmful effects to the people around you. if you don’t care about your health, how about your loved ones? your loved ones will risk the similar health problems because research shows that second-hand smokers are at greater risk of developing lung cancer than the smokers.

Many studies have shown us that smoking is bad and it has also been proven that just a small period of time after quitting smoking, a person is able to reverse many of the harmful effects that cigarettes have caused, no matter how long you have been a smoker. if this reason is not strong enough to make you stop smoking, I don’t know what will.

For example, if you quit smoking for a period of 5 years, you are no more at risk of a stroke than someone who has been a non-smoker for their entire life. this is huge considering that those who smoke are considered at least twice as likely to suffer a stroke. Additionally, if you quit for 15 years, you can enjoy the same risk of coronary heart disease as a non-smoker as well. While it might seem strange to enjoy the risk for coronary heart disease, it is much better than actually having coronary heart disease. Taking these small victories for your health is vital since you will be able to significantly improve your quality of life.

Finding what actually motivate to quit smoking has never been simple. but if you have the loved ones living with you, reckon about them. Give them a chance to live a better health. Don’t place them into risk of getting all sorts of health problems due to your smoking habit.

If you can’t find one good reason why you should stop smoking, then we suggest you focus on the health benefits of your loved ones. if you like them, then quit smoking for the sake of giving them a better health.
