I quit smoking marijuana and I am now experiencing side effects?

I quit smoking about a year ago. I was a habitual smoker. well all I did was smoke weed. When I was high sometimes I would sometimes be in a conversation and I wouldn't be able to tell whether or not it was really reality or I was dreaming or something along those lines. recently I have been experiencing the same thing but when I'm sober. I often have to question myself like "is this really me?"

This probably sounds totally insane but it's true. is this a common thing or am I going crazy?

Just assure yourself that you are in a reality. Even when you aren't. You probably are tripping out because it hasn't completely left your system, especially if you were a heavy smoker. but it has been a long time. maybe its repetitive memories of when you used to smoke..Like Deja vu? Can cause some trips.

I had the same thing happen.. i've been quitting weed on and off for a long time.. last time i smoked was in november or october.. but i've had the same experiences your not losing it!!
I would getit randomly in the day and i wouldnt know if anything was real, and it would freak me out and I would get panic attacks.
You just have to reattach yourself to the situation… touch something around you like go in the fridge and grab a drink, or something. also, name 10 things that are around you and assure yourself that they are in fact REAL and infront of you.
sounds weird, but it's worked for me.

no you shouldn't be experiencing this and you should have not done any of this in the first place wow

True untainted marijuana would not be giving you those symptoms. Marijuana today is genetically modified and laced with multitudes of poisonous chemicals, real cocktails, so you should not be surprised that you are having side effects. Hopefully the damage you have done can be rectified in time. Honestly I thought kids today were better educated about drugs than when I was a teen. have a look for those of my generation who smoked drugs, or I should say those still walking around today and how many of them are mentally functioning well. Look at your future if you don't get your act together.
