Why is marijuana illegal, but cigarettes are? And also, why are anti-pot people not also anti-cigarette?
If people say pot is unhealthy, addictive, and hurts our youth, have they seen cigarettes? I am pro-pot, and i just plain don't get it.
cigarettes can do more harm that marijuana, if the marijuana is not that processed. but the only thing that makes marijuana terrible, in my opinion, and if it compared to smoking, is that it is illegal. the FDA won't approve the legalization of the marijuana because it can be addictive.but it can be selled without FDA permission. also I guess that if it becomes legal it the process of preparation will need to be patented and regulated by the FDA, plus the sellers will need to pay taxes and report the selling of the product like any other product does. And the marijuana sellers will have to pay taxes wich will reduce their income, which they won't agree with.
I personally believe that it should become legal because it will bring some income to the economy and also will save some arrests and even the jails will save money because it will be one less prisoner the will have to feed and keep.
marijuana infact is safer because its natrually grown and doesnt have chemicals millions of people die from tobbaco but you cant die from marijuana unless you mix it wiht other substances/drugs/chemicals
in fact even george washington our first president harvested marijuana and used at as our economical crop
i smoke marijuana but i nvr show it to the people i keep it to myself and use it for peace and concentration or when im deppressed to stay away from my problems and just be cool i never do it for attention and neither do i go on telling people and trying to act all cool by saying so
I don't have the answer, but I agree with your statement. Based on my knowledge, I feel like marijuana is far safer than tobacco.
