For those who have successfully quit smoking, why did you do it?
What was the largest motivating factor that pushed you to stop?
My health.
I could feel it getting worse over time. Quitting smoking made the largest difference that I could actually feel.
after 30 plus years of smoking nearly 2 packs per day,,,,,on 2/1/04 i smoked a cig and put it out,threw out the rest of them and haven't had one since…it was just time….my time to quit
state and federal raising taxes on it.state actually raised it a few times.
The realization that it was an insanely stupid thing to do.
